Producer Bandla Ganesh, a self-proclaimed ardent admirer of Pawan Kalyan, has once again landed in the spotlight with a social media post that has drawn widespread trolling.
Following reports that doctors at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital had advised Pawan Kalyan to undergo shoulder surgery without further delay, Bandla Ganesh claimed that the actor-politician had been postponing the procedure for the past 15 years for the sake of producers.
According to Ganesh, Pawan Kalyan sustained the shoulder injury during the shooting of Gabbar Singh, a film he produced.
He argued that the actor deliberately delayed the surgery so that producers would not suffer financial losses due to interruptions in shooting schedules.
However, the claim did not go down well with many social media users.
Netizens questioned the logic behind postponing a medically necessary surgery for such a long period and described Ganesh’s remarks as excessive hero worship.
Many also pointed out that Pawan Kalyan had taken extended breaks from acting over the past 15 years due to political commitments and other reasons.
In their view, claiming that he delayed surgery only to avoid inconveniencing producers was an exaggerated statement. This led to a wave of trolling against Bandla Ganesh’s post.
