Anna Konidala, wife of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, has made an emotional request to fans ahead of her birthday.
She asked people to address her by her married name, Anna Konidala, instead of Anna Lezhneva, saying the name reflects her present identity and holds deep personal meaning.
Sharing a note on Instagram, Anna said she had wanted to make the request ever since she opened her social media account but struggled to find the right words.
She explained that most people came to know her as Anna Lezhneva because that was the name widely reported when news of her marriage to Pawan Kalyan became public.
However, she revealed that their marriage certificate was the last official document to carry that surname.
Anna said she adopted her husband’s surname on the day of their marriage and has since been known as Anna Konidala.
“Please call me Anna Konidala. That is my name, and it is the one I feel like myself with,” she wrote, thanking fans for understanding her request.
Anna, a Russian-born model and actress, met Pawan Kalyan while working on the Telugu film Teen Maar in 2011. Their relationship developed over the following years, and the couple married in September 2013.
They have a son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich. Pawan Kalyan is also a father to Akira and Aadhya from his previous relationship with Renu Desai.
On the work front, Pawan Kalyan is expected to collaborate with director Surender Reddy. He is also set to reunite with director Sujeeth for OG 2.
He was last seen in Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which was released in theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi.
