Raw King Manchu Manoj’s upcoming pan-India period action spectacle David Reddy officially unveiled its teaser today.
Celebrating the actor’s birthday, the makers released a powerful glimpse that introduces David Reddy and his world.
The teaser opens with British officials discussing ways to suppress Gandhi’s movement before moving into intense moments from the freedom struggle.
As the British search for someone capable of opposing Gandhi, an officer introduces David Reddy.
Manoj appears in a fierce and rugged avatar that instantly grabs attention, while Maria Ryaboshapka’s character adds an emotional layer through her scenes with him.
Feared by the British, David Reddy earns the title “Rakshas Reddy.”
Mounted on a lavish scale, the story is set between 1897 and 1920 during British rule. It revolves around a fearless warrior who rises against the British Empire.
The teaser impresses with powerful action episodes, while Ujwal Kulkarni’s sharp editing enhances the intensity.
Ravi Basrur’s electrifying background score further elevates the visuals. The detailed sets, artwork and props authentically recreate the pre-Independence period.
Set against the British era, David Reddy is being made as a grand pan-India action drama in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
Starring Manchu Manoj in the lead role alongside Maria Ryaboshapka, the film also features Ramya Krishnan, Samuthirakani, Abhay Deol and Kanchana in pivotal roles.
The film is slated for a theatrical release during Dussehra 2026.
