Nani-starrer The Paradise continued its box-office run on Day 2 after registering a strong opening on its first day.
The Srikanth Odela directorial maintained audience interest across India, adding another sizeable figure to its tally.
On Day 2, The Paradise collected ₹14.90 crore net in India from 7,049 shows. The figure marks a 57% drop from its Day 1 net collection of ₹34.65 crore.
With the latest numbers, the film’s total India net collection stands at ₹61.15 crore, while its India gross has reached ₹72.50 crore.
The film also continued to draw audiences overseas, collecting ₹4 crore on Day 2. Its total overseas gross now stands at ₹26 crore, pushing the worldwide gross collection to ₹98.50 crore.
Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows a marginalised community battling discrimination and fighting for its rights under an unexpected leader.
The film stars Nani in the lead, alongside Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar and Sonali Kulkarni.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, the action drama has a runtime of 2 hours and 54 minutes. Released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 24, the film has been certified ‘A’.
