Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin showed encouraging growth at the box office on Day 3.
The film collected an estimated Rs 9.65 crore net in India on its third day, marking an 11.6 percent jump from Day 2’s Rs 8.65 crore.
With 2,324 shows across the country, Lenin managed to improve its momentum and post its best daily collection so far.
The film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 25.45 crore, while the India gross has reached Rs 29.27 crore.
Overseas, Lenin added another Rs 2 crore on Day 3, taking its total international gross to Rs 7.80 crore.
With this, the film’s worldwide gross has climbed to Rs 37.07 crore in three days.
The Day 3 growth offers some relief to the makers, especially after the film opened to a mixed response.
The big question now is whether Lenin can maintain the same momentum during the weekdays and move towards a stronger first-week total.
The film is produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni under Manam Enterprises LLP in association with Suryadevara Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments.
