Akhil Akkineni has made a strong comeback with Lenin, which hit theatres on July 10. The film received mostly positive feedback from audiences and has performed well at the box office.
On Day 4, Lenin collected an estimated Rs 3.60 crore net in India from 2,122 shows. This marked a 62.7 per cent drop from its Day 3 net collection of Rs 9.65 crore.
With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 29.05 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 33.37 crore.
Overseas, Lenin earned around Rs 75 lakh on Day 4, taking its total international gross to Rs 8.05 crore.
The film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 41.42 crore.
Written and directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin is co-produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi.
The film stars Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles, along with Ramki, Sivaji, Sunil, Brahmaji and Easwari Rao in important roles.
Thaman has composed the music, while Navin Nooli has handled the editing and Leon Britto has worked as the cinematographer.
Set against the rugged backdrop of Rayalaseema, the film follows a courageous young man who takes on a powerful and oppressive village leader in his fight for justice.
