Nani’s "The Paradise" is turning out to be a disappointing performer at the worldwide box office after a strong start.
The film opened well, but widespread negative reviews led to sharp drops. Still, it managed to hold reasonably well over the extended four-day opening weekend.
On the weekdays, however, collections weakened further. By Tuesday, the film managed to cross the ₹100 crore net mark in India.
On Day 6, "The Paradise" collected ₹4.40 crore net, marking a 12 per cent drop from Monday’s ₹5 crore.
The film recorded ₹4.40 crore net across 5,772 shows on Tuesday. With this, its total India net collection has reached ₹101.50 crore, while the India gross stands at ₹120 crore.
Of the Day 6 collection, the Telugu version contributed ₹3.55 crore, Hindi added ₹80 lakh, and Tamil brought in ₹5 lakh.
Overseas, the film collected another ₹50 lakh on Day 6, taking its total overseas gross to ₹30.50 crore. The worldwide gross now stands at ₹150.50 crore.
