Day 7: Irumudi Loses Shows, Collections Take a Hit

Ravi Teja’s Irumudi witnessed a noticeable drop at the box office on Day 7, with Yash’s Toxic taking away a significant number of shows in the Telugu market.

In the battle for screens, Irumudi reportedly lost nearly 1,000 shows to Toxic, and the impact was clearly visible in its collections.

On Day 7, Irumudi collected Rs 6.90 crore net in India across 2,400 shows. This represents a 32.4% drop from the previous day’s Rs 10.20 crore.

With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 92.15 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 106.95 crore.

Overseas, Irumudi added another Rs 0.65 crore on Day 7, taking its total international gross to Rs 17.90 crore.

The film’s worldwide gross has now climbed to an impressive Rs 124.85 crore.

Despite losing a substantial number of shows to the much-hyped Toxic, Irumudi has managed to stay reasonably steady and complete its first week on a strong note.

Crossing Rs 100 crore gross in India and nearing Rs 125 crore worldwide within seven days is a significant achievement for Ravi Teja, marking a solid comeback at the box office.

The real test now will be how Irumudi holds during its second weekend, especially with Toxic occupying a large share of screens and shows across the Telugu states.
