Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become parents for the second time, welcoming another baby girl on Saturday, September 19.
The couple announced the happy news through a joint Instagram post featuring a baby's footprint and revealing that they had welcomed their second daughter.
Just a day before the announcement, Deepika was spotted visiting Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple along with Ranveer and his parents to seek blessings ahead of the baby's arrival.
Deepika wore an orange-and-purple traditional outfit for the visit, while Ranveer opted for a purple kurta paired with white trousers.
The couple had announced Deepika's second pregnancy earlier this year and had largely kept details surrounding the pregnancy private. Their recent public appearances had, however, indicated that the delivery date was approaching.
Interestingly, the couple had also visited Siddhivinayak Temple shortly before the birth of their first daughter, Dua, in September 2024.
Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in November 2018 in an intimate ceremony at Lake Como, Italy. Their wedding included ceremonies reflecting Deepika's Konkani heritage and Ranveer's Sindhi traditions.
Their relationship began after they worked together on Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. The couple later revealed that they had secretly become engaged in 2015.
Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024. With the arrival of their second baby girl, Dua has now become a big sister.
