Samantha Ruth Prabhu is preparing to enter a new phase in her life as she reportedly gets ready to welcome her first child with her husband, Raj Nidimoru.
Recently, several social media posts claimed that Samantha and Raj had hosted an intimate baby shower. Pictures of the couple looking cheerful and sharing candid moments were widely circulated as being from the alleged celebration.
However, the claims are not true.
Samantha’s team has clarified that the viral photographs were taken at an earlier wedding ceremony and were not connected to any baby shower. No such celebration has reportedly taken place so far.
Samantha and Raj are said to be expecting their first child together, with reports suggesting that the actress is currently in her first trimester. The couple is reportedly expected to welcome the baby later this year.

Samantha was last seen in the lead role in Maa Inti Bangaaram.
The film revolves around Swarna, a seemingly innocent newlywed who lives with her husband in a traditional and conservative household. While trying to win the trust of her suspicious in-laws, she hides certain details about her past.
However, when people and events from her earlier life return, Swarna is forced to protect her family from a group threatening their peace and safety.
The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Diganth Manchale in important roles. Gautami Tadimalla, Sreemukhi, Manjusha, Srinivas Gavireddy and several others appear in supporting roles.
Directed by B. V. Nandini Reddy, the film features music and background score by Santhosh Narayanan. Om Prakash handled the cinematography, while Dharmendra Kakarala edited the film.
Maa Inti Bangaaram is scheduled to begin streaming on JioHotstar on July 17, 2026.
Samantha is also set to play a lead role in the web series Rakt Brahmānd: The Bloody Kingdom, alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal.
However, she is reportedly taking a temporary break from acting as she prepares to welcome her first child.
