Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are expecting their second child. The couple shared the happy news on Wednesday through a heartwarming joint post on social media.
The post featured a picture of intertwined hands, with their baby daughter’s tiny hands holding a pair of little socks. The caption read, “Blessed once again with the greatest gift of all. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude.”
Soon after the announcement, several celebrities, including Karan Johar and Athiya Shetty, showered the couple with love in the comments section.
Interestingly, a pair of tiny socks has become a recurring symbol in Sidharth and Kiara’s family announcements. From revealing their first pregnancy to sharing their daughter’s name, the couple has repeatedly used the image, and their second pregnancy announcement follows the same tradition.
Sidharth and Kiara welcomed their first child on July 15 last year. Although Kiara was reportedly due in August, the baby arrived earlier than expected. She was admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaon area for the delivery.
The couple later named their daughter Saraayah Malhotra.
On the work front, Sidharth was last seen in the folklore-based fantasy film The Vvaan, while Kiara was last seen in Yash’s big-ticket film Toxic.
