Ravi Teja’s Irumudi continued its strong run at the box office on Day 2, showing a solid hold after an impressive opening.
With no major competition in the Telugu market and positive word of mouth working in its favour, the film managed to grow slightly on its second day.
Irumudi collected an estimated Rs 16.10 crore net in India on Day 2 from 2,943 shows. This is around 5.2 per cent higher than its Day 1 net collection of Rs 15.30 crore.
With this, the film’s two-day India net total has reached Rs 31.40 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 36.45 crore.
The film is also performing well overseas. It added around Rs 5 crore gross on Day 2, taking the overseas total to Rs 11 crore.
The worldwide gross of Irumudi has now reached approximately Rs 47.45 crore in just two days.
The strong Day 2 hold is a positive sign for Ravi Teja, especially after the film opened to encouraging audience response.
For now, the film appears to be heading towards a major box-office success for Ravi Teja.
