The makers of the epic Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, have begun the film’s musical promotions in Telugu with the release of the first single, Jai Jai Ram.
The song takes audiences into the heart of Lord Ram’s legendary journey, serving as a divine window into the world of Ramayana.
A soulful invocation of Shri Ram, Jai Jai Ram blends the spiritual essence of an aarti with the grandeur of a cinematic composition.
The lyrics by Rakendu Mouli beautifully reflect Shri Ram’s compassion, protective nature, and unwavering commitment to dharma, while the recurring invocation lends the track its deeply devotional soul.
One of the highlights is the portrayal of Ram and Sita, with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi sharing an emotional presence that adds a personal dimension to the larger-than-life narrative. The visuals further enhance the song’s spiritual and cinematic scale.
A.R. Rahman’s evocative composition establishes a serene devotional mood, while Deepali Sahay and Raghav Kaushik bring their vocal brilliance to the track.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana has already generated tremendous anticipation across the globe following the overwhelming response to its trailer.
Backed by Prime Focus Studios, DNEG, and Monster Mind Creations, the film is set to release globally on November 5, ahead of its India release on November 8, during the Diwali festive season.
