SS Karthikeya, one of the producers of Varanasi and a key creative force behind the film’s international promotions, has shared his thoughts on the possibility of a Telugu remake of Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.
Speaking exclusively to GreatAndhra during the release of Don’t Trouble The Trouble, Karthikeya was asked about the recent buzz surrounding the proposed remake.
He clarified that he had not approached Balakrishna regarding the project, though he acknowledged that he too had heard the rumours.
When asked whether Balakrishna would be a good fit for the role, Karthikeya agreed that the remake could work very well with the veteran actor.
However, he stopped short of revealing whether he had any concrete plans to take the project forward.
When directly asked if he was considering making the film with Balakrishna, Karthikeya simply smiled, leaving room for speculation.
For now, there is no official confirmation regarding the remake or Balakrishna’s involvement.
