Kavya Kalyanram and singer-composer Kaala Bhairava made their relationship official on social media today.
According to industry sources, the couple got engaged last weekend and chose to make their relationship public only after the ceremony.
Kavya shared a post referring to Kaala Bhairava as her “yellow people daisy.”
Their relationship reportedly faced some initial objections from both families, particularly from Kaala Bhairava’s side.
Kaala Bhairava is the elder son of Oscar-winning music composer M. M. Keeravani and Valli, who worked as an executive producer on films such as Baahubali and RRR.
Kavya Kalyanram shot to fame with Balagam and has since continued to take up interesting roles. Kaala Bhairava is a singer and music composer who has worked on several Telugu films.
He also lent his voice to “Komuram Bheemudo” from RRR. The film’s song “Naatu Naatu” later went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song.
Buzz in industry circles is that Kavya Kalyanram and Kaala Bhairava are planning to tie the knot in December. An official confirmation regarding the wedding date is still awaited.
