The upcoming film Lenin, starring Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse, is set to hit screens on June 26, 2026.
Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, the film has already created good buzz with its chartbuster songs.
Today, on the occasion of King Nagarjuna completing 40 years in the industry, the makers released a surprise teaser.
Titled Manodu Vasthunnadu, the teaser promises an entirely new Akhil. It begins with Bhagyashri Borse performing in a play while imitating Sr NTR’s powerful dialogue. The scene then shifts to a bike ride, where Akhil and Bhagyashri share beautiful chemistry.
Their slang, especially Akhil’s effort to sound more authentic, stands out impressively.
Akhil Akkineni looks completely transformed in the teaser of Lenin. The biggest highlight is the way he delivers the Chittoor/Rayalaseema slang with surprising ease and intensity.
His dialogue modulation, rugged body language and raw expressions feel fresh and natural, showing a clear improvement in his acting compared to his previous films.
The teaser presents him in a never-before-seen mass avatar. Every frame carries strong rustic energy, backed by powerful visuals and Thaman’s intense score.
The final shot, in particular, stands out with Akhil’s fierce expression and strong screen presence. It creates a solid mass and emotional impact, leaving a strong impression and raising expectations for the film.
Produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments, and presented by Annapurna Studios, the film also has strong technical support from editor Navin Nooli and cinematographer Leon Britto.
With Murali Kishore Abburu’s direction, Lenin promises a mix of emotion and entertainment, backed by strong production values and a wide theatrical release.
