Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli reunite for their second collaboration, this time with an even bigger story, scale, and vision.
Produced prestigiously by Venkat K Narayana, #Mega158 marks KVN Productions’ first foray into Telugu cinema after mounting star attractions in Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.
The film is already riding high on buzz, especially after the blockbuster success of Chiru-Bobby’s previous outing, Waltair Veerayya.
The announcement poster, the striking look-test image, and Chiranjeevi’s intense gym video have collectively set the stage for a massive storm.
The film was launched in style today with a traditional pooja ceremony- a true mega dhamaka, as Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu graced the event alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi.
Pawan Kalyan sounded the clapboard, Sushmita Konidela switched on the camera, and VV Vinayak did the honours of directing first shot.
B Gopal, Kodandarami Reddy, and Nagababu handed over the script to the makers. However, the rare frame of the mega family together sent fans into a frenzy.
Director Bobby Kolli has reportedly crafted a story with even higher voltage, giving Chiranjeevi one of his most intense characters yet. Malayalam talent Anaswara Rajan has also joined the cast to play a pivotal role.
The technical team is a powerhouse. The film features music by S Thaman, cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan, production design by Avinash Kolla, and editing by Antony Ruben.
Regular shooting of the movie begins tomorrow in Hyderabad.
