Raveena Tandon and her daughter Rasha Thadani have appeared in Vishwanath and Sons and Srinivasa Mangapuram, respectively, within a gap of just 15 days.
While Srinivasa Mangapuram ended up as a disaster, making Rasha Thadani's Telugu debut a disappointing experience, Raveena Tandon is enjoying the success of Vishwanath and Sons.
Interestingly, there is a catch in Raveena's case. Her character in Vishwanath and Sons is not particularly powerful or impactful to be remembered.
However, being part of a successful film always brings its share of happiness. For Raveena, the film's success has certainly made her South Indian comeback a rewarding experience.
For Rasha, the journey has been quite different. A debut film's result can strongly influence the initial perception of a newcomer, and Srinivasa Mangapuram did not provide her with the ideal launch.
Still, both mother and daughter have now made their presence felt in Telugu cinema within a short span. While their experiences have been completely different, their simultaneous appearances make for an interesting coincidence.
