Currently streaming on Aha and Sun NXT, Mr. Work From Home is a family entertainer that blends comedy, romance, songs and family emotions with contemporary themes such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), agriculture, technology, human relationships and mythology.
On the surface, the film is a light-hearted entertainer. But beneath the comedy, it explores the future of agriculture, the role of AI in farming and the differences between modern technology and traditional thinking.
One of the film’s interesting ideas is the concept of “where Krishna meets Balarama.” The hero represents technology and modern thinking, while Shivaji Raja’s character, Balarama Chakravarthy, represents agriculture, land and traditional wisdom. The film brings these two worlds together in an entertaining way.
The story also contains several interesting mythological references. The heroine’s house being named Samataka Nilayam, the conflict involving the characters played by Thrigun and Viva Harsha, and shades of Bhima in Nellore Sudharshan’s character are some of the elements viewers may connect with Indian mythology.
