Mythri's 418 Trailer: Fear Gets a Terrifying New Address

Mythri Movie Makers is venturing into frightening new territory with 418, presented by star director Prashanth Neel.

The film marks the directorial debut of Kirtan Nadagouda and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar. With the trailer now out, fear seems to have found a terrifying new address.

A seemingly abandoned house, a watchman’s disturbing revelation, and a youngster struggling to distinguish reality from hallucination set an unsettling tone.

Vivek becomes the centre of the mystery, while the reopening of the VIMS building after 15 years raises several disturbing questions.

Despite resistance from the locals, the building is reopened, but the biggest secret remains locked inside Room No. 418. The trailer’s fear factor rises further with the arrival of Devika.

Director Kirtan Nadagouda maintains a tight narrative flow and keeps fear at the centre of the proceedings.

What begins as a psychological mystery gradually transforms into a full-blown supernatural horror experience. The trailer is packed with eerie situations, frightening moments and steadily rising tension.

Chaithra Achar is undoubtedly the standout performer. Her transformation into the terrifying Devika gives the trailer some of its most chilling moments. Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, Preethi Pagadala and Shashank Patil are also introduced.

Dinesh Divakar’s cinematography makes effective use of dark spaces, unusual perspectives and atmospheric frames to intensify the suspense, while Venky GG’s haunting background score adds another layer of uneasiness.

Ullas Hydoor’s production design is particularly impressive, with the haunted house and the VIMS building creating a convincingly sinister world.

With mystery at its core and supernatural horror driving the narrative, 418 creates a strong impression with its trailer.

The film is gearing up for release on the 18th of this month, and the trailer works almost like a final warning.
