Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Koratala Siva recently joined hands for a new project, with producers Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sudhakar Mikkilineni backing the film.
The project was officially launched in June in Vijayawada in the presence of Nara Lokesh, who gave the ceremonial clap.
However, speculation soon emerged that the film had been shelved.
One version suggested that Balakrishna, following his recent knee surgery, was not keen on starting the project immediately.
There were also reports that Koratala Siva was concerned about another delay, having already spent considerable time waiting for Devara 2, and was therefore exploring other options.
Putting the speculation to rest, the team has now issued a clarification on social media, making it clear that the project is very much on.
“Requesting everyone NOT TO BELIEVE ANY RUMORS circulating about #NandamuriBalakrishna and #KoratalaSiva Project. It is very much happening and will go on the floors after #NBK wraps #NBK111 with Gopichand Malineni. - Team #NBKKoratalaSiva.”
The clarification confirms that Koratala Siva’s film with Balakrishna remains intact.
