Nikhil Siddhartha’s much-awaited period action epic Swayambhu is inching closer to release, with the team kickstarting musical promotions through the fiery first single Ra Ra Dheevara.
Just like the posters and teaser, the song, too, received a terrific response, further amplifying expectations around the film.
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, Swayambhu was initially planned for a summer release, but the team pushed the date due to pending post-production work.
The delay stems from the team’s commitment to perfection. The makers released a special video highlighting the enormous effort going into crafting a visually grand cinematic experience.
The footage shows Nikhil, along with director Bharat and cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, visiting the Phantom FX studio, where extensive CG work is underway.
The film features 2700+ CG and VFX shots, with 750+ technicians working tirelessly around the clock to deliver world-class visuals.
Nikhil and Senthil Kumar are personally supervising the CG process to ensure there’s no compromise on quality or a rushed release.
Produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu, the post-production work is in its final stages. A new release date will be announced soon.
