NTR is gearing up for the release of the glimpse from his upcoming film Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel.
The title glimpse is set to be unveiled at midnight on May 19, coinciding with the actor’s birthday celebrations.
Amid the excitement surrounding the film, certain groups reportedly began organising charity drives in NTR’s name. In response, the actor’s team issued a clarification, distancing him from such activities.
“Mr NTR is in no way associated with these activities, nor does he endorse them in any way,” the statement said.
The quick clarification is being seen as an attempt to avoid unnecessary political speculation.
The move has also drawn comparisons with Vijay, who had started charity and welfare activities years before formally entering politics and recently became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
By issuing the clarification promptly, NTR’s team appears keen to prevent any political interpretation around these charity initiatives.
