The much awaited glimpse of Dragon starring NTR has finally arrived, and the 4 minute 28 second video itself feels like a full scale trailer.
Released under the title “Dragon Glimpse,” the video hints at the massive scale planned by director Prashanth Neel.
If the glimpse is this lengthy and packed with content, audiences are already wondering how lengthy the actual trailer and film will be.
Set against a 1967 backdrop, the glimpse opens with references to opium plantations, opium wars, and the dangerous Afghan Trading Company.
Actress Rukmini Vasanth narrates the dark and violent world while introducing the rise of NTR’s character.
The video gradually builds towards the introduction of Luger, the “Assassin in Chief” of the Afghan Trading Company, played by NTR.
NTR’s rugged look and commanding voice stand out throughout the teaser.
His dialogue, “Devudu naako varamichchaadu. Trigger nokkagaane marchipovadam,” instantly grabs attention and is likely to become hugely popular among fans.
The glimpse strongly carries the visual and action style seen in Salaar and K.G.F. While it looks stylish and intense, it does not offer much freshness in terms of storytelling.
It's just another extension to Prashant Neel's world. The film is scheduled for release on 11 June 2027.
