NTR's Emotional Speech: No Family Support

November 16, 2000, was a deeply significant day in N T Rama Rao Jr’s life, the opening of his debut film, Ninnu Choodalani.

Recalling that day, NTR speaks emotionally about the absence of his parents and the loneliness he initially felt.

In the pre release event of "Don't Trouble The Trouble" he spoke, “My mother could not come for "Ninnu Choodalani" opening event, because she generally did not step out in public. My father also didn't come and wanted me to learn to stand on my own feet. He wanted me to face the challenges of the industry by myself".

For a young NTR, however, the experience was difficult. He remembers going to the film opening alone and feeling lonely and sad. It was a major milestone in his career, yet the people closest to him were not physically present to share the moment.

But NTR says that the love he received from his fans and the wider film fraternity gradually filled that void. Their affection and encouragement gave him the confidence and strength to move forward. NTR also said that apart from fans he is blessed by God with the family of Rajamouli and Keeravaani.

Looking back, what initially felt like an emotionally difficult day became an important lesson in his journey. For NTR, that day was therefore not merely the beginning of his film career. It was also one of his earliest lessons in standing on his own feet.
