Posani Krishna Murali had earlier announced that he would stay away from politics and would no longer make political comments on public platforms.
After his decision, many expected him to become busy with films again. They thought he would take up more acting assignments, even if he did not return as a writer.
However, Posani has now chosen a different path.
He has decided to make films based on stories he personally likes and handle most of the responsibilities himself.
Normally, such an approach carries financial risk. But Posani says he is not worried about losses.
“At present, I am planning to make one film every year. I do not expect huge profits from it, and I am not afraid of losing much either. If the film earns money, I will be happy. Even if it fails, the loss will not be very big,” he said.
Posani said he would follow careful planning and make one film every year.
He added that this journey had already begun with Operation Aruna Reddy. He handled several responsibilities for the film and plans to follow the same model for his future projects.
However, the big question is how he will avoid losses with such films.
Usually, small films of this kind may not easily secure OTT deals and often have to depend mainly on theatrical collections.
How Posani plans to manage the financial side of these projects remains to be seen.
