Prabhas-starrer Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is gearing up for its next major promotional milestone, with the teaser ready and an official release date expected to be announced soon.
The makers are reportedly targeting a December release, making the timeline crucial for the film’s overall business plans.
According to industry sources, Fauzi is in a must-release situation this year. If the film fails to hit theatres before the end of the calendar year, its streaming agreement with Netflix could reportedly be affected.
The streaming giant is said to have acquired the post-theatrical digital rights for a significant amount, with the deal carrying a release timeline that needs to be honoured.
As a result, the production team is working to ensure that the schedule is met without further delays.
With the deadline drawing closer, much of the responsibility now rests on director Hanu Raghavapudi and his team to complete the remaining work on time.
The film is jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner, along with Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films.
