Prabhas is currently busy shooting for Spirit with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga in Hyderabad.
With the actor fully occupied with the project, rumours recently suggested that Fauji had been pushed back due to his unavailability.
However, the makers have dismissed such speculation, reiterating that Fauji is still on track for a 2026 release.
The current plan is to release the film in the first week of December, reportedly in line with the release window agreed upon with Netflix, which has acquired the digital rights.
According to industry sources, director Hanu Raghavapudi needs just 30 more shooting days with Prabhas to complete the film. He is currently waiting for the actor to finish his ongoing schedule for Spirit.
Once Prabhas allocates the required dates, Hanu reportedly plans to wrap the remaining portions within two months.
Despite rumours of delays, Fauji is said to be mounted on a grand scale. The film reportedly features large-scale war sequences and lavish production values.
The team believes the buzz around the project will rise significantly once the teaser and trailer are released.
