Icon Star Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film RAAKA is raising excitement with every update.
The actor is once again at the centre of a landmark moment for Indian cinema, with the magnum opus securing a place in the Guinness World Records for the “Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time.”
Directed by Atlee and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner, the film achieved the record by simultaneously motion-capturing 37 performers in real time. The feat marks a major milestone in cinematic technology.
The record-breaking exercise was completed in February 2026 and was officially certified on September 15, 2026.
The Guinness World Records certificate was presented to Allu Arjun and director V. Arunkumar (Atlee) by Swapnil Dangrikar, Senior Adjudicator at Guinness World Records, during an intimate ceremony attended by key members of the film’s cast and crew.
The achievement highlights the scale of the technological ambition behind RAAKA.
What makes the feat particularly remarkable is the diversity and complexity of the performers involved. A total of 37 performers, ranging from a four-year-old child to a 70-year-old, were captured simultaneously during a single session.
The challenge was to accurately record and preserve the individual performances of all 37 participants within a single motion-capture volume.
The Guinness recognition adds another global dimension to RAAKA, with the makers confident that the film can showcase the creative and technological capabilities of Indian cinema to audiences worldwide.
With its scale, innovation and global ambitions, RAAKA is positioning itself as a major Indian cinematic spectacle.
