Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Ramayana" is envisioned as a grand cinematic interpretation of one of India’s most enduring epics.
The makers today unveiled a new poster featuring Ram, Sita and Lakshman in a single frame against a breathtaking backdrop.
Ranbir Kapoor appears as Lord Ram, holding an intricately designed bow and wearing a calm yet determined expression.
He is flanked by Ravi Dubey as Lakshman on one side and Sai Pallavi as Sita on the other, creating a striking visual representation of the iconic trio.
The characters are dressed in traditional, earthy-toned attire, complemented by layered ornaments and distinctive styling that establish the period and mythological setting.
The background features rugged mountains, lush greenery and cascading waterfalls, giving the poster an expansive and almost divine atmosphere.
Rocking Star Yash, who plays Ravana, also features in a newly unveiled first-look poster from the highly anticipated film.
His brief appearance in the trailer had already made a strong impression, with the actor projecting a powerful and intense screen presence.
Produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with eight-time Oscar-winning DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, "Ramayana" is being mounted as a two-part epic.
The film will release worldwide in IMAX, with Part 1 arriving during Diwali 2026 and Part 2 following during Diwali 2027.
