The makers of Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Mysaa have officially announced the film’s release date.
The intense period-action drama is set to arrive in cinemas on November 27, which appears to be an ideal release date, especially with several big-ticket films lined up for December.
Produced under the Unformula Films banner, the movie will have a pan-India release in all South Indian languages and Hindi.
Mysaa presents Rashmika in a fierce avatar. The release poster immediately grabs attention with her battle-ready look, bloodied face, traditional attire and a massive spear in hand.
The background is filled with fire, smoke, sparks and a large crowd, creating the atmosphere of a violent village battle.
The film is written and directed by Rawindra Pulle and marks a strong attempt to explore a period setting with a distinctly rooted visual identity.
The poster suggests that Mysaa will revolve around a powerful woman caught in a world filled with violence, tradition, conflict and survival.
Rashmika, who recently sustained an injury while shooting an intense action sequence, is recovering well and is expected to rejoin the shoot soon.
With only a small portion of filming left, the makers are also carrying out post-production work simultaneously to ensure that the project stays on track.
