Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s GMB Entertainment has joined hands with A+S Movies and SriChakraas Entertainments for Rao Bahadur, starring Satya Dev in the lead role.
Written, directed and edited by Venkatesh Maha, the film has been creating curiosity through its unconventional promotional campaign.
The makers have now released a new promotional video titled Just A Teaser.
The video offers a glimpse into the complex life of Satya Dev’s character, an ageing man diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.
Despite repeated predictions about his death, he continues to survive, raising questions about his past and present.
The teaser moves through different stages of his life and presents brief glimpses of a youthful romance and several incidents that appear to have shaped his journey.
Satya Dev undergoes a notable transformation for the role. His appearance, expressions and body language reflect a man carrying memories, regrets and unanswered questions.
The character also appears to move between reality and imagination, adding an element of mystery to the story.
Deepa Thomas plays the female lead.
Venkatesh Maha appears to be presenting Rao Bahadur as an emotional and visually distinctive drama. Rohan Singh’s production design gives the film a detailed look, while Kartik Parmar’s cinematography creates a sombre atmosphere.
Smaran Sai’s background score adds to the emotional and mysterious mood of the teaser.
