Veteran Telugu actress and popular character artist Pavala Syamala passed away while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.
She had been suffering from serious health problems for some time. According to hospital doctors, she suffered a severe heart attack at around 1:52 am on Tuesday, July 28, and breathed her last.
Her body has been kept in the hospital mortuary.
Pavala Syamala was known for her natural acting and comic roles in several Telugu films. She entertained audiences for many years and earned a special place in the hearts of movie lovers.
However, during the last few years, she faced serious financial difficulties and age-related health issues.
Her daughter, who was staying with her, is also reportedly suffering from major health problems.
