Ghattamaneni Jaya Krishna, grandson of Superstar Krishna, son of Ramesh Babu, and nephew of Mahesh Babu, is making his debut with Sreenivasa Mangapuram, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, produced by Gemini Kiran, and presented by Ashwini Dutt.
The team recently organized an event to introduce the film’s lead pair, Jaya Krishna and Rasha Thadani.
Director Ajay Bhupathi referred to Swapna Dutt as the fourth lion of the family.
“When I was told that I would be introducing Krishna’s grandson and that the film would be presented by Ashwini Dutt, I took some time to think about it.
I see many of Krishna’s qualities in Jaya Krishna. He possesses all the attributes needed to succeed. Despite being a legendary producer, Ashwini Dutt personally checked on the film’s progress every single day.
Even though both the hero and heroine are newcomers, I never felt nervous. Jaya Krishna has tremendous determination and a strong screen presence. Rasha is one of the finest actresses I have worked with.”
K Raghavendra Rao spoke about his long association with Ashwini Dutt.
“Agni Parvatham, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies with Krishna, was a sensational blockbuster. Later, Raja Kumarudu, which introduced Mahesh Babu under the same banner, also became a huge success. Now, Vyjayanthi Movies is introducing Jaya Krishna.
I loved the songs in this film. The introduction song has been filmed beautifully, with great traditional values and aesthetics. By naming the film Sreenivasa Mangapuram, they have already achieved their first success.
The boy’s name is Sreenivasa, and the girl’s name is Manga. I wholeheartedly wish that this film collects as much money as the offerings devotees place in Lord Srinivasa’s hundi.”
Jaya Krishna described Sreenivasa Mangapuram as a very special film.
“When Ajay narrated the story to me a year ago, I immediately understood its depth. I felt the character would be challenging and would give me an opportunity to prove myself. I never wanted to take this opportunity for granted.
I would also like to thank Ashwini Dutt. He made Agni Parvatham with my grandfather Krishna and introduced Mahesh Babu with Raja Kumarudu. Now, he is launching me with this film, which makes it even more special.
Gemini Kiran was the one who introduced me to Ajay. I am a die-hard fan of my uncle Mahesh Babu. He always gives me valuable feedback and encouragement.”
Ashwini Dutt spoke about his association with NTR and Krishna and thanked everyone who extended their support to the film.
