While the film grossed 1.1 crore on its opening day in Nizam, it almost doubled its earnings on day two, raking in 2.1 crore.
This surge clearly reflects the strong word of mouth driving audiences to theatres. Sunday bookings are robust, with even bigger numbers on the way.
For Suriya, who had been navigating a relatively lean phase before Veerabhadrudu, the film has turned out to be a much-needed comeback.
