Teja Sajja’s Mirai is already creating buzz in Japan even before its theatrical release.
The fantasy adventure, which emerged as a major blockbuster, is now gearing up for its Japanese release on August 21, with early advance-booking numbers adding to the excitement.
Interestingly, Mirai has already entered the Top 10 Indian films in Japan based on Day 1 advance bookings, putting the film in a promising position ahead of its release.
The Teja Sajja-starrer is also said to be closing in on Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai and S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 in the rankings. With two more days to go, there is considerable interest in where Mirai will finally land on the list.
The achievement is even more notable considering that only five Telugu films have reportedly made it into Japan’s Top 10 Indian films based on opening-day advance bookings.
