Toxic, starring Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in key roles, has generated strong buzz across the globe with its trailer and promotional material.
The film is being produced on a massive scale by KVN Productions and Yash, under the direction of Geetu Mohandas. The makers recently launched the trailer at a grand event.
Speaking at the event, producer K. Venkata Narayana said KVN Productions plans to expand into three separate wings — production, distribution and finance.
He described Toxic as one of the company’s most special projects and thanked Yash for giving them the opportunity to produce a film of such scale.
“In Indian cinema, we have rarely seen a gangster drama mounted on this scale. We have also never seen Yash sir in such a magnificent role. It is going to be a historic film for us and, hopefully, for Indian cinema as well,” he said.
He further described Toxic as a first-of-its-kind, larger-than-life fairytale and said the film is designed to offer audiences a grand theatrical experience when it releases on August 26.
