Vijay has now become Tamil Nadu’s new Chief Minister. Even while he was preparing for the elections, reports about his separation from his wife Sangeeta Sornalingam had surfaced.
For the past two years, there have been reports that Vijay and his wife have been living separately.
It is also being said that his son Jason Sanjay chose to carve his own path instead of becoming an actor. Without taking his father’s help, Jason Sanjay directed his first film for Lyca Productions.
The film, titled "Sigma", stars Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah. It was initially planned for a summer holiday release, but the makers have stopped giving updates about the project.
Now that Vijay has become Chief Minister, the production house is expected to be extra cautious and may seek his guidance and support before releasing the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film.
So, will Sundeep Kishan receive Vijay’s backing for the movie?
It must also be remembered that Jason Sanjay is currently staying with his mother and reportedly skipped Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony.
Neither he, nor his mother, nor his sister were seen during Vijay’s celebrations.
