Rocking Star Yash’s highly anticipated gangster drama Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is gearing up for release on the 26th of this month.
From posters and glimpses to songs, the promotional material has already created strong interest. The makers have now unveiled the trailer at a grand event.
The trailer does not reveal the complete story. Instead, it introduces viewers to a dark, stylish and dangerous world built around power, ambition and complicated relationships.
Yash plays Raya, a gangster who appears to be driven by more than just money or territory. The character seems to understand the nature of power and is willing to cross boundaries to protect his position.
The trailer also hints at Raya’s complex relationships with several women and shows an emotionally strained equation with his son, Ticket.
Yash appears comfortable in the role, presenting Raya with different shades of charm, arrogance, aggression and vulnerability. Some of his quieter moments are as effective as the action-heavy scenes.
Kiara Advani makes a strong impression, with her character presented with glamour and mystery.
Nayanthara’s role appears mature and authoritative, and her brief appearances suggest an important emotional connection with Raya.

One of the major points of interest in Toxic is Geetu Mohandas’ direction. Known for her distinctive filmmaking style, she appears to have approached the gangster genre with a visually rich and unconventional treatment.
