Akhil admitted that the flop affected him deeply. He also revealed that when he watched the film again, he was unhappy with his own performance.
“After Agent flopped, I watched the film again. I felt terrible seeing myself. I realised that I had overacted in almost every scene,” Akhil said.
He added that he had doubts about the film even after watching the first copy before its release. He said he had shared those concerns with people close to him.
However, Akhil explained that the producer had already invested crores of rupees in the project. As the lead actor, he felt it was his responsibility to support the film and help recover the investment.
That was why he worked hard and promoted Agent despite having doubts about its final output.
