That was the shooting time of ‘Andala Ramudu’ in the direction of Bapu-Ramana. ANR was the hero of the film and the complete outdoor shooting took place on the banks and River Godavari. A place was chosen on the banks of that river and temporary cottages were built. Everybody including ANR stayed there through out the shooting. That was a pleasant artificially made atmosphere where an alarm used to ring in the morning calling for breakfast. Devotional songs used to be played while having breakfast. That was like a picnic with jokes and different discussions.

The schedule was lasted for 15 days and all this was shared by Ravi Kondala Rao to Singitham Sreenivasa Rao later. Then Singeetham said, “It would have been nice if those behind the scenes were shot as video as people like watching them. Had I been there I would have shot”. That was the first ‘behind the scenes idea’ which was not implemented.

Well, the concept of behind the scenes is becoming popular now that many films are doing that. After screening the film when those scenes are rolling on screen along with concluding titles, people are enjoying them. It is an example to say that Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao is the director who thinks different and new all the time.
