Nostalgia: Scene Behind Chiranjeevi’s ‘Rudranethra’

Liquor baron Varalu Raju produced the film. Varala Raju managed to get the call sheets of Chiranjeevi by getting into his good books with his influence. Varala Raju used his influence as a liquor baron and managed to get a promotion for Konidela Venkat Rao, father of Chiranjeevi, through the then government. 

The megastar naturally felt obliged to Varala Raju. Therefore he immediately agreed when Varala Raju approached Chiranjeevi with an offer to produce the film. The rest, as they say is history.
