Ranganath Says He Was Afraid Of That Actor

Ranganath began his career as a hero. After acting as hero in some films, he slowly shifted to character roles. He is now a well established character artist, usually playing elderly roles like father and grandfather or a village elder.
 
Ranganath feared only one person in his entire life. It was the towering personality SV Ranga Rao. Ranganath literally got the shivers whenever he was required to act in front of SV Ranga Rao.
 
Ranganath also has an unfulfilled desire in his long innings in Tollywood. He wanted to act in a song sequence rendered by Ghantasala. But he never got a chance to move his lips to the voice of Ghantasala. This is his biggest regret in life, he mentioned.
