US BO: Karthikeya 2 Adds More, Now at Top 5

Few films perform strongly in their third or fourth weekend on par with the performance of their first weekend run. Such a rare happenstance is being witnessed now.

Nikhil Siddharth’s “Karthikeya 2” grossed more than $80k on its fourth Saturday.

Using the advantage of the $3 ticket price (National Cinema Day promotion), “Karthikeya 2” attracted the audience in big way.

On its premiere day, the film collected $98k. More than 20 days later, the film grossed close to that amount.

Emerging as a true blockbuster, this Chandoo Mondeti’s mystic thriller stands at the fifth position among the top Telugu grossers in the USA in 2022.
