The Hindu Temple of St. Louis (HTSTL) is preparing to host one of the most spiritually significant Vedic events ever conducted in the United States—the Nava Kundathmaka Shatha Chandi Sahitha Rudra Yagam, from July 14 through July 19, 2026.
Performed by a team of learned Vedic priests in accordance with ancient Vedic traditions, this six-day Mahayagam brings together the worship of Divine Mother Chandi, the embodiment of Shakti, and Lord Rudra (Shiva), the Supreme Protector. The combination of Shatha Chandi and Rudra Yagam is regarded as one of the most powerful Vedic rituals for universal peace, prosperity, health, spiritual upliftment, and the removal of obstacles.
This Mahayagam is not merely a religious ceremony—it is a celebration of Sanatana Dharma, bringing together thousands of devotees in prayer, devotion, and spiritual unity.
