Prominent astrologer Venu Swamy has made a series of predictions about the political future of Andhra Pradesh, including the prospects of YSR Congress Party president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Jana Sena Party chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh.
In a recent interview, Venu Swamy predicted that differences could emerge between the TDP and Jana Sena Party after June 2027. He, however, claimed that the TDP-led government would remain in office until 2029 and predicted that Pawan Kalyan’s astrological period would change after June 2027.
He said the possible differences within the coalition may not necessarily benefit the YSRCP, as he also predicted that Jagan Mohan Reddy could face a difficult phase after June 2027.
According to Venu Swamy, Jagan’s horoscope indicates a challenging period lasting around eight months from June 2027. He claimed that Jagan should take precautions regarding his health and could face issues related to back or leg pain, along with possible legal complications. He also predicted that some old cases could be revived.
Venu Swamy said he had advised Jagan that, if he wins the 2029 elections, he should visit one or two temples in North India before taking oath as Chief Minister and maintain a gap of around 10 days between the election victory and the swearing-in ceremony.
Jagan has previously indicated that he intends to undertake a padayatra from 2027 and remain among the people until the next Assembly elections.
Venu Swamy also predicted a possible political elevation for Nara Lokesh. He claimed that planetary positions indicate a challenging period for Chandrababu Naidu from June 2, 2027, and advised the Chief Minister to take care of his health.
At the same time, he predicted that Lokesh could receive a “promotion”, possibly to the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
He further predicted that the 2029 Assembly election could produce a one-sided result, with the winning party securing more than 80 per cent of the seats.
Venu Swamy also anticipated a triangular contest in Andhra Pradesh, but suggested that the third political force may not have a major impact.
