Amaravati: In a significant move to strengthen the organisational structure of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and expand its global presence, the party has appointed Dr Raja as the Global NRI TDP Chief.
The appointment was made under the direction of TDP National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Recognising Dr Raja’s unwavering commitment and valuable contributions to the party, often working behind the scenes without seeking publicity, the party leadership has entrusted him with this key responsibility.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr Raja thanked TDP National President and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh for reposing their trust in him and appointing him as the Global NRI TDP Chief.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Raja said:
“I am deeply honoured by the trust placed in me by the party leadership. I will work tirelessly to strengthen and effectively coordinate TDP’s NRI chapters worldwide and build a vibrant, well-connected Global NRI TDP network.
“My priority is to leverage the knowledge, expertise and global networks of the Telugu diaspora to support Andhra Pradesh’s development through investments, technology, innovation, skill development, youth empowerment and the party’s global outreach.
“As we enter an AI-driven era, we will actively engage young professionals, entrepreneurs, students, researchers and innovators from the global Telugu community to bring fresh ideas and future-ready solutions to governance and development.
“Our vision is to connect global Telugu talent with opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, attract investments and empower our youth. Together, we will strengthen the Global NRI TDP network and make it a driving force in the party’s success in the 2029 elections.”
