Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated Tamil Nadu’s new chief minister Vijay over phone.
Jagan spoke to Vijay after his TVK party registered a big victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and Vijay took charge as the chief minister.
YS Jagan expressed hope that Vijay would provide efficient, transparent and people-friendly governance as per the aspirations of the people of Tamil Nadu.
He wished that Vijay would work with dedication for the welfare and development of the state.
Jagan said the people of Tamil Nadu had placed strong faith in Vijay’s leadership. He hoped that Vijay would live up to that trust and fulfil the hopes of the people.
He also wished that Tamil Nadu, under Vijay’s leadership, would move forward in development, good governance and public welfare.
YS Jagan further hoped that Tamil Nadu would play a more important role in the country’s development and become a strong partner in India’s overall progress under Vijay’s leadership.
