Former YSR Congress party leader and ex-Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy, who has been targeting the Telugu Desam Party-led coalition government with a series of posts on his social media platform, has once again taken potshots at chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for making tall claims on investments.
In his latest post on X, Sai Reddy said that the people of Andhra Pradesh are not interested merely in announcements of investment proposals, but in whether those projects are actually implemented on the ground.
“The people of #AndhraPradesh are not interested in mere announcements of investments, they care whether they actually materialise. Whether it’s the Jindal steel plant or Google’s AI Data Centre, what matters is that these projects are grounded on time and deliver jobs, growth, and the promised benefits,” he said.
The former MP went on to add: “I urge CM @ncbn and the Andhra Pradesh Government to launch an investment tracker capturing every MoU signed, its grounding status, project completion timeline, jobs created, and expansion plans. Only transparency will build accountability and public confidence.”
The other day, Sai Reddy also sought to expose the alleged corruption in the construction of Amaravati capital project.
He questioned why land-pooled farmers in Amaravati were yet to receive their developed plots.
He alleged that corruption was taking place in the name of capital development and urged the public to question the alleged irregularities.
He also took a dig at former chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for raising “Mavigun” proposal, instead of highlighting the corruption in Amaravati project works.
He sought clarity on the proposed 'Mavigun' concept, asking what benefits it would bring and what would happen to the buildings proposed to be constructed in Amaravati over the next three years.
Sai Reddy announced that he would challenge the alleged corruption in Amaravati before the courts.
