Four ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police) police people were washed away near while they were searching for the missing Hyderabad students near Larji Dam.

Andhra Pradesh government has already sanctioned an ex-gratia of 5 lakhs to the family of the victims and the Telangana government will be doing the same shortly.
Apart from ITBP, Indian Navy has sent a team of nine divers to Mandi for searching the missing students.
